This release adds support for the Serato Video 1.1 update but also has some very handy new features and improvements. Serato is pleased to announce the release of ITCH 2.2.2, the latest free update for Serato ITCH DJs. Mac users on 10.5.8 or less should read this FAQ before downloading. Download Serato DJ and try it for yourself.

If I was still working 38hr day job and 15-28hrs djing I’d get a Model One or a Rane 68, but budget at the other end of the scale now.Serato DJ now replaces ITCH and is a free upgrade for supported controllers. Now tossing up leaving Pioneer and getting a Serato (built in) Gemini PMX-20 or Beringher DDM 4000? Saw the DDJ FLX6 rrp $1,199 selling at “45% off” $750. So started down the rabbit hole of pioneer controllers w/ inbuilt serato (coz fuck buying SL4 coz in 5yrs they’ll “discontinue” that too). So the laptop (even though used) was “too new” for serato updates/downloads as it was a 64bit lappy and the only ones that work are 32bit hardware (for their 32bit software). Thought ‘downloading an older iOS and compatible serato dj download = problem solved’ ….I was wrong. but can’t play them coz I don’t have serato software. Lost my lappy w/ +29,000 tracks on it… got them back…. I’ve lost the installation drivers and can only download the latest version (which is unsupported).

If anyone can help me out, you’d be a bloody legend! Think it’s like Serato Dj 2.2.1 or some shit but it came out with version 1.6. 🤞🏽Ī- the original installation disc it came with or B- any copy of that version of Serato DJ that plays S元. I can’t afford a new serato set up so I’m hoping someone else is still running Serato with an S元 box. I downloaded serato dj (and pro and lite) and ‘Rane has discontinued the S元 box’. Still runs flawlessly after thousands of gigs. (Also Serato is circa 2004/whenever S元 came out). My trusty work horse the MacBook Pro (circa 2004) died (on my 40th bday) and I had the hard drive recovered and formatted on a newer MacBook Pro but the one thing missing from it is serato.
